We were treading up to 5/5, but then I would find myself at 9/5. She is some things pretty well, but she also gave me a few errors.
Normally, I feel I’m a bit all over the place but today, I felt I was the more experienced player, but it was still hard. And even though she was a bit under the weather, it’s still very hard to beat a young Egyptian in Egypt! You give them a crumb, and they want the whole darn cake! She was not going to give it to me at 5/5, I really had to go and get it, and I think I played those points pretty well.
Tomorrow, I’ll have to step up, I’m playing Raneem….
I love playing squash, and in the past, there were moments I didn’t realise how lucky I was to be involved in that sport. But if I was to make my way to the Pyramids, there wouldn’t be a second of that blessed time on the glass that would be lost, I would enjoy every shot played on there…
