Danielle and I are very good friends, we normally travelled and train together on events, so we know each other very well.

I know that she has changed a few things in her game recently, that her level has improved greatly, so I knew what to expect and that it was going to be a tough one, as we are so close ranking wise.

I had my tactics right in place, got it right in the first game I thought, but in the second, I was down 6/2 and it took me a lot mentally and physically to dig and come back to take that one. So in the third, I was up 4/1 and I had a “gros coup de mou”, complete drop of energy, and I just let it go, weathered the storm trying not showing too much how flat I was…

Luckily enough I had a good start in the 4th, gave it a big push physically that I think surprised her a bit, and managed to get a good lead. It made it easy to put my tactics in place from that point on…

It’s nice to see that the work I’m producing with my new team is paying off, and I just want to thank them for that…

Playing in front of the Pyramids would be the dream of a young girl. I went there for the first time two days ago for Hollie Naughton birthday, and I had literally goosepumps looking at them. And to be honest, when I see that, I realise I wouldn’t want to play any another sport…
