We actually never played, so it was nice to play somebody new.
I went on there with nothing to lose, no pressure on me. Well actually, there was a bit of pressure as it was exactly one year ago I beat my first top ten, it was Joshna here in the Worlds, so I was a bit afraid of not performing as well and lose my ranking points.
And I was a bit tense as well, because I watch Nele’s match… that’s not true, actually I was fired up because I was thinking, that’s my turn now to win.
I was so focused from the first point, I knew what to do, I kept it tight and kept going.
But in Manchester, I saw Tesni coming back from two love down, and take the match, so at the end of the third, we were 7/7, 8/8 and I was thinking don’t let it go, keep running.
I’m happy I kept my nerves, and that makes three wins in the family in a single day. I’m happy.
