I just spent 6 weeks in the UK, so I don’t have any problem with the jetlag…
Julianne and I play for the Gloucestershire League, so we played each other a couple of times I think but not in PSA.
I am really happy to be honest, after everything that has been going on, I realised that there was much more to life than squash, and it allowed me to relax and enjoy the moment whereas before, I would have put a lot of pressure on myself, trying to perform and get the win in those platinum events. It hurt my game, whereas now, I try not to take the match too seriously, and I just enjoy it. Which is nice.
I have been working very hard physically those past months, I feel confident playing a match on a glassback in Egypt! I’m not afraid to play one of more shot, and make her go for her shots, which is her natural game anyway.
