I was really nervous because of what happened at the London Classic, I lost in the first round to Lucy Turmel, and I was not happy with my squash at all.
I hadn’t really recovered from the loss, only five days turn around, I was in a bad mood, wondering why was I playing that badly, thinking about my ranking, blah blah…
Still I played very well in the first game, Tong is a really good player, and I only manage to close the match 3/2. It was very difficult, I had to focus on my squash, and stay focused despite a stop and start game she wanted to play, whereas I wanted to play continuously.
Very happy I managed to win the 5th game pretty comprehensively, very proud of myself today.
