[2] Diego Elias (PER) 3-0 Jonah Bryant (ENG) 11-5, 11-8, 11-2 (38m)
Cool, calm and collected, the words of the MC Zaki about Diego’s performance. He added: you haven’t lost a game yet in the competition, do you intend to keep that trend going? Well, I hope to, Diego smiled.

Diego was just in control throughout today. Not that the English didn’t try and did much wrong. He was in front 5/3 in the opener, but couldn’t score another point, it was like if Diego was sliding nicely swanlike on there today. Smooth movement comes to mind, 11/5 in 12m.
WIth the momentum, Diego rushes to 9/3. A good response from Jonah at that point, back to 6/10, only bowing 11/8, 13m.
The third is fast and painless for Diego, 8/0, 11/2.

“I feel very happy with the way I played today. Jonah is a very dangerous player. He’s played a lot of matches against top guys, so I know his potential. I played as seriously as possible and didn’t want to give him any free points because this could have ben very tough.
“It’s one of the biggest tournaments of the year, every match is very tough so I just focus point by point. Hopefully I can go all of the way this week.”
