First match of the season, first match as a married woman, it’s a totally new phase in my life.
It’s no pressure at all, I am in a very nice phase of my life, obviously, I know it’s early days now but it’s nice to have my husband, my family, my friends around me. Everything is good.
Menna and I go way way back.
Last time played I think was in the British Junior Open semi-finals, we are the same age, and we used to compete a lot, we know each other since we were very little. That was that match had something special.
It was not easy, although I won in 4, I never relaxed at any point. And now, I’m so relieved it’s overII know she had some injuries, but she is such a good player.
So grateful I have Ramy, my family, my friends, everybody around me!
