The first game, I was uncomfortable, the first game of the first tournament tends to be that way, it was a little patchy. The second game was very consistent for me, I thought that maybe Cindy went for a few things that would have been great if they came off, they would have been brilliant but as they didn’t, they were kind of gifts to me.
I started very well in the third, I thought I was on it, and I switched off just a little bit, and you cannot afford to do that. And you find yourself having to contain her all of a sudden, and you think HOLD ONE A MINUTE, what changed here? Oh wait, you are shooting a bit too early Liv, maybe we go back to the nice length thing that was working so well.
It’s probably a good think that I was punished today because the worst thing that could have happened was for her NOT to punish me, and for me to go on like it’s ok, and I would have found myself in a lot of trouble tomorrow. It was a good lesson, you stay in there until the end, until the Fat Lady sings….
Tomorrow, Alexandra Fuller. I don’t think we every play would you believe. How nice, I’m going to be 30 and I’m still getting to play different players, and she is actually not that much younger than me… really looking forward to it.
