It’s unreal. It’s a crazy draw, it’s insane…

Here I am, training and getting tougher and tougher. And then you get the draw: Joel Makin. It’s a shock. That’s my first round of the season. It’s unbelievable. There are a lot of other players, amazing and all. But MAKIN!!! First round???

In the first game, I played a trickle boast, went for the drop shot and my knee sort of turned, it felt like an electric shot but then the physio tested it, it was nothing and I was fine.

I’m happy overall with the performance, the first push is good, he just won the British Nationals, I watch him, I watched his matches.

Next round, Soliman, another tough battle, Youssef is an amazing player, we play hard battles together. And I’m here in my city, 6th of October.. I’m happy.
