The first PSA Diamond Level event of the season continued with eight Round Three matches from the top half of the draws – four at the O West Complex followed by four at the Pyramids.
There was just one seeding upset today as Nele Gilis held off a fightback to beat eighth seed Gina Kennedy in five, but Karim Abdel Gawad, Hania El Hammamy and Joel Makin all had their work cut out to advance.
