Sorry Mr Cubbins, for not doing a big celebration at the end, but Moustafa is actually one of my best mates.
Relief. It’s that sigh of relief when we worked so hard, in these conditions, playing a really good friend, and someone as talented as Moustafa, it’s so hard, it’s so personal, that you have to step aside from that. And it’s very rewarding to get the win.
He is truly one of my closest friends, I was staying with him during this tournament last year, I’m staying with him next week, so I’m not sure how that’s going to work!!!!!!
I’m so proud with the way we played, we battled away, we were both p. at each other, yelling at each other but deep down, we are very close friends and that’s what the competition is about. It gets very hard, tough on court, and you are going to disagree, and you are going to fight, hate each other, it’s all part of the competition, at the end of the day, we all want to win. But outside the court, you go back to being friends.
Last time, it went to him, this time, today I took my revenge, let’s see who takes it next…
