He played very well.
He was cutting the ball better than I was, I wasn’t finding my targets on the court. My length wasn’t good, I was not moving well, the court was very slippery, but these are all excuses that in fact, he played well, he played VERY well.
He hold his nerves at the important times, but I just closed it down with the experience I have.
I’m happy to get that one off the way to focus on the coming match, but it was tough.
Thanks to that match, I can be alert of what I need to do in the coming match, but all credit to him, he pushed me really really hard today, and this one was even tougher than the one I played against him in Hong Kong. It was a good match.
