Timmy Brownell (Usa) 3-0 [wc] Ismail Amr Abdellatif (Egy) 11-3, 11-5, 11-7 (28m)
Timmy : Anyway, I’m definitely happy to get out with a… well, it wasn’t a short match, but it was shorter.
He was very attacking, very powerful, very excited, so I was trying to stay calm, contain the ball, and make sure I didn’t have to make any crazy movements. I was happy with that.
I’m also hoping he didn’t turn his ankle too badly, and that he feels better soon. He’s a strong young player. Egypt has so many. I’m not sure they need another one, but they’ll get one.
The matches today have been great. There are lots of fans here, the energy is good, and there’s lots of good squash. So I’m going to shower up and go watch!
