It was such bad luck for Dimitri, such an in-form player, as he was way ahead in the first game, 8/3, went for a big lunge, and felt something snap in his back, match over.
Aly : I think he pulled something in his back in the first game.
Not sure exactly when it happened, I was 8/4 down, then took the game 11-9. At the end of the game, he asked for 3m self injury, injury break between the games, lost the second, and in the third, it seemed that the injury was getting worse. I tried to stay focused, it’s not easy to stay focused and playing a injured player as talented as Dimitri, so I kept going, but he just couldn’t finish the match, and I truly feel sorry for him.
