Leonel : I wouldn’t say it was an easy match today, but it was relaxing. It was tough. I feel he was playing really well today. We’ve played each other at the Pan Am Games, where he plays for Jamaica, I think twice, and we’ve played more matches on the PSA tour. Today I felt he had a good plan, and it was tough. He took the first game, I took the second, and the third was really close.
I kind of survived, because my game plan wasn’t going that well. He was hitting his corners and I was trying to find answers, a solution. I was fighting and fighting, and at some point I got him. After that close game, it was like a boost for me, and the fourth was a bit easier. But yes, it was more a case of trying to find answers all the time.
