“I’ve watched her play many times, especially at the Asian Games. She’s had some solid wins there and I knew going in it would be a tough game. I wish her a speedy recovery.
“You come in with your best plan and hope for a tough game constantly. That happened in the first round that I played, I was pretty lucky to get through that. I was coming here as well thinking it was going to hard, but I hope to get back on court tomorrow.
“It’s always going to be hard from round one, the tour has grown a lot and there is a lot of depth. I always have nerves from the first round onward, so to get through and to be in the latter stages of a tournament is something I’m trying to work on.”
