Yassin : Another good win today again. Yesterday I played #4, and today, the #7. As I’m unseeded, I’m so proud to play here again on Friday amongst the best World 32 players.
I had more or less the same plan than yesterday, Aly plays very fast and is very quick. We are good friends, we play a lot together and we are close off court. I know how dangerous he can be. He is a very solid all-around player, and very fit. I had to make sure I’d stay focused the whole match and fight for every point.
I think what might have made the difference today was the fact he had a lot of interactions with the ref, getting out of the match. On the other hand, I tried to stay calm, concentrate on the point to come, not on the last one. Very happy to get through…
