After six days of intensive action at Club S and the Pyramids we were down to the finals, with the CIB Egyptian Open champions crowned tonight in squash’s most iconic setting.
In the women’s final Hania El Hammamy made it three major final victories in a row against Nouran Gohar, as the new World #2 raced through the third and fourth games after the first two were shared. Ali Farag retained the title – and hir world #1 ranking – as he beat Paul Coll in four games.
